Highlighting Barton eSports in week 3

The strong start to the season continued for the Barton Community College eSports program, as a pair of groups extended their perfect records following week three competition.

Recording their third straight winning week, the Cougars assembled a 5-4 mark over the nine matches running their record to 14-10 overall. Barton will return to action Tuesday to begin week four action with nine games on tap.

Staying perfect and moving to 3-0 on the season was the Call of Duty 4v4 team earning a clean 3-0 sweep over Carl Albert State College while the Overwatch 2 clan edged out Finger Lakes Community College 3-1 to move to 3-0.

Playing a doubleheader this week, the Call of Duty Gun Fight squad overcame their first defeat of the season bouncing back with a 3-0 blanking over Seward County Community College.

Harley Headley led the individuals' group for the second straight week, earning an exciting 3-2 win over Iowa Central Community College.

Closing out the Barton victories was the Rocket League team notching their first victory of the year with a 3-0 shutout win against Lakeland Community College.
