Rain fall totals have picked up in recent days around the Golden Belt. So too have mosquito populations. Last week, the city of Great Bend announced it would resume fogging for mosquitos. Tuesday morning, the city announced those weekly foggings will continue weekly, either on Wednesdays or Thursdays depending on the weather, until further notice.

The fogging truck typically runs from 8 p.m. to midnight.&nbsp;To reduce the risk of inhaling chemicals, residents are advised to avoid going outdoors for at least 30 minutes to an hour after fogging takes place.
