The Barton Community College Athletics department raised $4,200 for Camp Hope during “Pink Out Night” on March 2, a record for the annual fundraiser.

“Pink Out Night” is an annual fundraiser where fans can purchase a pink Barton t-shirt to wear to the basketball games, and all proceeds go to support Camp Hope. This year, a record 432 t-shirts were sold. Barton Athletic Director Trevor Rolfs and Assistant Director of Athletics Heather Panning presented the check to Camp Hope representatives Gail Moeder and Christy Huslig.

Camp Hope is a free, week-long summer camp for children who have or have had cancer.  The camp is held every June at Camp Aldrich.

A Jayhawk conference title for top-ranked Cougar men over Hutchinson and Sophomore Night celebrations capped off the record sales.
