SHAWNEE COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting in Topeka have a second suspect in custody.
Just before 1:30a.m. October 21, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of SW 21st Street in Topeka reference a possible shooting, according to Topeka Police Lt. Donna Eubanks.
Officers located two adult male victims, one with possible life threatening injuries and one with non-life threatening injuries. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
During the course of the investigation, police identified 22-year-old Rajhgerio Smith as a suspect. They arrested him on requested charges of Aggravated Battery.
On Friday, the Topeka Police Department asked the public for help in locating Tysuan E. White, 22, Topeka, as a person of interest in this investigation.
With the public's help. police located and arrested Smith. He is being held in the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Aggravated Battery.
Police thanked the community for their help.
