Missouri man was transporting cocaine and meth in Kansas

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a Missouri man on drug allegations.

Just after 9p.m. March 29,  a sheriff’s deputy stopped a white Chevrolet Avalanche for an alleged traffic infraction on 150th Road near Q.4 Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The driver, Michael Hugh Hodge, 55, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with an expired license, felony driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without valid insurance, and for an improper turn.
