Kan. school district cancels classes due to alleged threat

WOODSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities and USD 366 Woodson officials are investigating an alleged school threat.

Early Thursday, the school district reported on their social media page they were alerted to a threat that was made to Yates Center High School.

Due to the serious nature of this threat and to allow law enforcement time to investigate, Woodson USD 366 will not be in session Thursday, March 7.  All activities are also cancelled. School will resume after spring break on Monday, March 18.
