JACKSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.
On August 30, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer for an alleged traffic infraction near 150th and Q. Road in rural Jackson County Kansas, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
Deputies discovered illegal drug contraband during the traffic stop. The driver, Nikia Noelle Gasper, 33, of Topeka, was arrested on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.
The passenger, Levell Leman Mullens, 29, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was also arrested on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
