KBI: Missing NW Kansas girl found safe

The Sherman County Sheriff’s Office reported to the KBI that Briley Horgan was located in Goodland, and is now safe.

The endangered persons advisory is now canceled.

The Sherman County Sheriff's Office requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation issue an endangered persons advisory for a missing Goodland girl, according to a media release.

The whereabouts of 13-year-old Briley N. Horgan are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate her.

Briley was last seen near the 3300 block of Sunset Drive, in Goodland, Kansas.

She was driving a 2016 white Dodge Journey bearing Kansas tag 777RYK. The SUV has black rims. The vehicle was spotted around 2:20 a.m., Friday heading east on Highway 24, near the 1900 block.

Briley was last known wearing a Jack Skellington onesie and a yellow t-shirt. Briley is 5-foot-4 inches tall and weighs around 80 pounds. She has light brown hair and brown eyes. Briley has depression, anxiety and may be suicidal.
