Kan. sex offender threatened neighbors with bow and arrow

SALINE COUNTY- A registered Kansas sex offender is under investigation for alleged aggravated assault after an incident with his neighbors.

Just after 9:30 p.m. Jan. 14, deputies were sent to 8296 Shane Hunter Drive on the west side of Assaria, according to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan.

It was reported that 37-year-old Christopher Albertson of Assaria had stepped outside his trailer and was yelling at his neighbors. He allegedly was intoxicated and pointed a bow and arrow at the neighbors, according to Soldan.n No one was injured.  Deputies arrested Albertson on a requested charge of aggravated assault. He has previous convictions for a criminal restraint and Aggravated Indecent Liberties GE 14less than 16; Fondling, according to the Kansas Dept. of Corrections.
