SEWARD COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 3a.m. on Sunday in Seward County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Ford F150 driven by Mario Visoso-Garcia, 25, Liberal, was northbound on U.S 83 approximately a mile south of the U.S. 54 Junction. The pickup ramped the east curb, entered a side skid and rolled.
EMS transported Visoso-Garcia and a passenger in the pickup identified as Elijio Beltran, 22, Liberal, to Southwest Medical Center. Beltran died of his injuries. The driver and passenger were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
