OSAGE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities and officials with USD 454 Burlingame are investigating an alleged school threat.
On Monday morning, officials learned of a potential threat against Burlingame Schools, according to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells.
At 11a.m. the Burlingame School Resource Officer and school officials immediately placed the school into a shelter in place, followed by a lockdown.
Additional deputies responded to the school and to the area to search for the suspect. The suspect, a juvenile, was located by Burlingame Police and taken into custody without incident at 11:40 am.
