JOHNSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Tuesday in Johnson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Dodge Charger driven by Jamie Sha'Quoia Gleason, 38, Kansas City, Missouri, was attempting to merge onto northbound Interstate 35 from northbound Interstate 635.
The car left the roadway and rolled down the hill across the northbound lanes of Interstate 35. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
EMS transported Gleason to KU Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.

The patrol reported a vehicle was attempting to merge onto Northbound Interstate 35 from Northbound Interstate 635. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled down the hill across the Northbound lanes of Interstate 35. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
