SEDGWICK COUNTY— A Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was arrested Saturday, on a misdemeanor charge of buying sexual relations, according to sheriff's department spokesman Branden Stitt.
Diego Rubio-Mancha, 22, of Maize, was arrested by the Park City Police Department and booked into the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility on a single count of buying sexual relations.
Rubio-Mancha joined the Sheriff’s Office as a detention deputy in February 2024. The Sheriff’s Office placed him on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation. He met the requirement for bail and is no longer in custody, according to online jail records.
