SHAWNEE COUNTY,– Sheriff Brian C. Hill announces a 27-year-old male was arrested and facing multiple charges including, possession of stolen property and possession of methamphetamine, following a suspicious vehicle investigation Saturday evening.
Shortly after 9:30p.m. Dec. 23, a deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 3600 block of South West 21st Street, according to Lt. Scott Wanamaker.
During the investigation the Deputy learned that the vehicle, a white 2013 Buick Enclave was reported stolen through the Topeka Police Department. Deputies also found illegal narcotics.
They arrested 27-year-old Dylan K. Dow of Topeka. He remains jailed without bond on requested charges of possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and parking/standing/or stopping in a prohibited area. He has previous convictions for battery, theft, burglary, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon and flee or attempt to elude law enforcement.
