JOHNSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a pair of armed robberies and have made an arrest.

Lenexa Police reported two armed robberies Tuesday involving Facebook Marketplace sales of electronics.

The sales took place in the parking lots of a gas station and a grocery store.  Police in Olathe arrested one suspect Tuesday night. The suspect is believed to be tied to both cases.  According to the Johnson County Police Department booking report, officers arrested 22-year-old Terrell Harris in Olathe Tuesday on a requested charge of aggravated robbery.

"With the holidays approaching, these types of person-to-person sales are likely to increase. Police strongly recommend meeting at a police station to conduct these transactions. For example, the front circle drive, front entrance walkway and even our front lobby of the Lenexa Police are considered good options.
