COFFEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a business burglary have made an arrest.
On Monday, the Coffey County Sheriff's Office reported their work with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and Osage County Sheriff's Office helped them to identify possible suspects involved in the Dec. 26, burglary at Waverly Lumber 109 West 4th in Waverly, Kansas, according to the sheriff's office.
More than an estimated 90% of the property taken has been recovered, including vehicles and trailers, power equipment, tools, and accessories.
Deputies had reported two work trucks, a trailer, various tools, electric wiring and custom doors had been stolen from the business.
The Coffey County Sheriff's Office deputies and investigators continue to develop leads in this investigation with the intention of apprehending and holding responsible all involved.
Names of suspects will not be released until the conclusion of the investigation, as officers seek more information to provide the best prosecution possible.
