Wichita State University served as the host for 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds at Intrust Bank Arena, in partnership with Visit Wichita, Sedgwick County and the City of Wichita. Mayor Lilly Wu was pleased with the results.

Houston and Texas Tech won Saturday night's games in Wichita and advance to the Sweet-16.

The NCAA has not released official attendance figures for the first and second round games played in Wichita. The attendance was approximately 14,000 for each session.
