HUTCHINSON— The Kansas State Fair announced that iconic country music group, The Oak Ridge Boys, will perform at the 2024 Fair on Sunday, September 15, at 3:00p.m., according to a media release.
The performance promises to be a highlight of the fair's entertainment lineup, showcasing the distinctive four-part harmonies and upbeat songs that have made The Oak Ridge Boys a household name in the music industry.
With a career spanning five decades, The Oak Ridge Boys have earned numerous accolades, including Grammy, Dove, CMA, and ACM awards. Their chart-topping hits such as "Elvira," "Bobbie Sue," "Dream On," and "Thank God For Kids" have solidified their place as one of country music's truly legendary acts. The quartet, consisting of Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, Richard Sterban, and William Lee Golden, continues to captivate audiences with a stage show widely recognized as one of the most exciting in the industry.
The Kansas State Fair is proud to host The Oak Ridge Boys, who have not only left an indelible mark on country music but have also branched out into various genres, collaborating with artists like Paul Simon, George Jones, and Johnny Cash. New in 2024 – Expanded Seating Area:
The Kansas State Fair is pleased to unveil an improvement to the Grandstand seating that promises to enhance the overall event experience for attendees. This year, the stage will be repositioned to create space for an extended seating area in the lower track area. A sturdy ground covering will be added to the new seating space, ensuring a pleasant experience for all event-goers. This expansion not only boosts overall capacity but also provides more concert enthusiasts the chance to enjoy the excitement up close.
Ticket Options:Reserved seating in the Grandstand is $40/$30.

Lower Track Reserved Seating
Get up close to the stage! The Lower Track Reserved Seating gives concertgoers the opportunity to have a reserved seat in the new floor area, located right in front of the stage. Each ticket is $65.
VIP Deck – Standing
Want the ultimate VIP treatment? This ticket package includes access to the VIP Deck area, two beverage coupons, complimentary food within the VIP Deck, and early entrance to the Grandstand. Each VIP Standing ticket is $75.
VIP Deck – Reserved Table
Get all your friends together with the VIP experience! Reserve a table on our VIP Deck to enjoy the show from a private table that seats six. In addition to a reserved table for six, this package provides two beverage coupons per person, complimentary food within the VIP Deck area prior to the show, and early entrance to the Grandstand. Each VIP Reserved Table is $500.
