Police: Kansas felon accused of selling marijuana

RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations after an arrest.

Just before noon Tuesday, police arrested 39-year-old Curtis Colley, Jr., of Grandview Plaza in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Colley was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribution of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture/plant/cultivate a controlled substance, distribution of opiate/opium/narcotic/stimulant/heroin, and possession. Colley remains jailed on a bond of $10,000.

He has previous convictions for criminal threat, aggravated burglary, aggravated intimidation of a witness, and for drugs and for arranging sale/purchase using communication facility, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
