Police arrest 3rd suspect for alleged armed robbery in Manhattan

MANHATTAN  After further investigation into a July 28, robbery on Waterway Place in Manhattan, police have identified and arrested a third suspect.

On Wednesday, police arrested Evan Megaw, 19, of Junction City on requested charges of aggravated robbery after it was reported he and two other suspects robbed a 17-year-old at gunpoint.

Just before 2p.m. July 28, a 17-year-old boy and a 45-year-old woman reported a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old robbed the 17-year-old victim at gunpoint of his iPhone then shot at the teen and woman in their car as they followed the suspects driving away from the scene.  No injuries were reported. 

Terriundis Toliver, 15, and Malachi Fielder, 18, both of Manhattan were previously arrested in July and August, respectively, for their roles in the incident.

Megaw remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $85,000.
