Kansas man accused of selling methamphetamine

OSAGE COUNTY –Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.

Just before 10 pm June 3, a Sheriff’s K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop at 213th and South Michigan Road in rural Osage County for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.

Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility. Delwin D. Watkins, 58, of Pomona, is being held on requested charges of Distribution of methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia, No drug tax stamp, Driving while license suspended, No proof of insurance and Illegal registration

Marvin J. McWhorter Jr., 64, of Quenemo is accused of Possession of methamphetamine.
