WACO, Texas (AP) — Adam Flagler scored a season-high 22 points, Jared Butler had 18 and No. 2 Baylor finally overcame the rust of a three-week break and Iowa State for a 77-72 victory. The Bears are 18-0 for the first time in school history. They hadn't played since an 83-69 win at then-No. 6 Texas on Feb. 2, then had six consecutive games postponed because of COVID-19 issues in the program. Iowa State jumped out to a quick 15-4 lead and led by as much as 17 in the first half. Tyler Harris had 22 points for the Cyclones. The Bears never led until MaCio Teague made two free throws with 4:26 left.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Mike McGuirl scored 19 points, hitting three straight 3’s in the final minutes, and Kansas State took down No. 7 Oklahoma 62-57. The Sooners led by six with three minutes to play, before McGuirl took over. He hit the three 3s and Kansas State took a 3-point lead. The Wildcats (7-18, 3-13 Big 12) didn’t lose the lead after that point. Davion Bradford scored 13 points and DaJuan Gordon had 11 as Kansas State beat a top 10 opponent at home for the first time in three years _ beating then No. 4 Oklahoma.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Courtney Ramey scored 15 points and made two free throws with a minute left in overtime to give Texas the lead as the 14th-ranked Longhorns earned a regular-season sweep of No. 17 Kansas with a 75-72 win. Kansas had a chance to tie after Ramey’s free throws, but Jalen Wilson lost the ball driving for a layup. Kai Jones made one free throw for Texas with 5 seconds left for the final margin. Ochai Ogbajai scored 17 points for Kansas, which had its five-game win streak snapped. The Jayhawks lost to Texas twice in the regular season for the first time since the Big 12 went to round-robin play in 2011-2012.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Taz Sherman scored 23 points, Derek Culver had 18 points and 14 rebounds, and No. 10 West Virginia continued its solid play on the road with a 74-66 victory over TCU on Tuesday night. Miles McBride added 11 points for the Mountaineers, who have won six straight away from home. RJ Nembhard led TCU with 17 points. The Horned Frogs have lost three straight. West Virginia’s three-game Texas road trip this week was cut short when the Big 12 announced that Thursday’s game between the Mountaineers and No. 2 Baylor was canceled. West Virginia now will return home to finish the regular season with four games over eight days.

IRVING, Texas (AP) — The Big 12 has scheduled a dozen makeup games next week in the break the conference had left open for such games before the start of postseason tournament play. No. 2 Baylor, No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 10 West Virginia, No. 14 Texas and No. 18 Texas Tech all will play three games next week. The Big 12 tournament will be played March 11-14 in Kansas City. Baylor will still be able to play only a maximum 14 of its 18 scheduled conference games. Only four teams have the opportunity to play all 18 games.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Aaron Henry delivered 20 points and Joshua Langford had a double-double as Michigan State knocked off No. 5 Illinois, 81-72. Langford grabbed 16 rebounds and had 13 points for the Spartans who received a 15-point performance from Rocket Watts. Michigan State shot 54% from the field and held the Illini to 5-for-17 from 3-point range.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The agent for Tiger Woods says the golfer is undergoing leg surgery after being seriously injured in a one-car accident near Los Angeles this morning. Authorities say his SUV crashed into a median, rolled over several times and ended up on its side before Woods had to be pulled out through the windshield. Woods injured both legs in the wreck and authorities said that there was no immediate evidence that Woods was impaired.
