K9 helps arrest Kansas woman for alleged drug possession

OSAGE COUNTY –Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas woman on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.

Just after 11a.m. August 25, a sheriff’s Office K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of East 137th Street in Osage County for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

The K9 identified illegal narcotics during the stop.  Jessica C. Carroll, 39, of Topeka was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail on requested charges that include possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
