KANSAS CITY —Police in Kansas City are investigating a Saturday morning homicide.
Just after 4a.m., police were dispatched to 50th and Prospect Avenue on a reported EMS call for a victim down in the street, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
When officers arrived, they observed a man laying in the street unresponsive and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Responding officers immediately began rendering medical aid until EMS responded and confirmed the man was deceased.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently unknown and no one is in custody, according to Gonzalez.
