KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating another homicide in Kansas City have identified the victim as 39-year-old Antonio Collins.
Just before 8p.m. Friday, police reported to report of a shooting a wooded near 22nd and 71 Highway, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.
First responders located Collins suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
Police are investigating this incident as a homicide. Detectives canvassed the area for witnesses, evidence and surveillance footage to determine what led up to this shooting.
