SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal shooting are asking the public for help to find a suspect identified as 29-year-old Tremale M. Serrano of Topeka.
Just after 9:30 a.m., October 15, police responded to a report of an individual laying in the front yard of an address in the 1600 block of SW 21st Street, according to police spokesperson Rosie Nichols.
First responders located Jackson E. Danner, 23, of Topeka, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation has led police to believe that there is a second suspect, identified as Tremale Serrano was involved. Anyone with information on Serrano is asked to contact police.
On November 14, police booked 33-year-old Aaron Serrano into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections in connection with Danner's death.
