KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Kansas.
Just after 8:30p.m. Monday, police were dispatched to 900 E Armour iin Kansas City on a reported sound of gun shots, according to Police Captain Corey Carlisle.
Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle leaving the scene which was transporting the victim to an area hospital.
Officers made contact with the adult male victim at the hospital who appeared to be suffering from apparent gun shot wounds.
The man later died from his injuries, according to Carlisle.
Police are working to determine circumstances leading up to the homicide. Police have not made an arrest or released the name of the victim.
