SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspect for alleged burglary.
Just after 8:30 a.m. Sunday, police observed two individuals on the roof of the old Ramada Inn motel, 605 SW Fairlawn Road in Topeka, according to Police Lt. Edward Stanley.
Officers quickly established a perimeter and began to clear the vacant business in an attempt to locate the individuals observed. One individual was taken into custody as they exited the building and the other was located still inside.
Upon further investigation, Dylan K. Dow, 27 and Raymond D. Roberts II, 28, both of Topeka, were transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested of Burglary, Criminal Damage and Interference with a law enforcement officer. Dow was also wanted on a a Shawnee County Arrest Warrant.
