KANSAS CITY—Three people died in an accident just before 1a.m. Sunday in Kansas City.
According to Police Captain Corey Carlisle, a black Ford Taurus was northbound on Emanual Cleaver, at a very high rate of speed.
Just before East 45th Terrace, the driver lost control and the vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a tree. The driver and two passengers in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Carlisle.
Police did not release the names of the victims. The accident remains under investigation.
