Kansas kidnapping standoff suspect still at large

SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement continue to search for a suspect involved in a standoff at a Kansas home. 

Just after 1p.m. August 10, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a. home in the 6400 block of Hale in the city of Haysville, according to a statement from police. First responders including Sedgwick County Sheriff's Deputies, Haysville Police, SWAT, and Kansas Highway Patrol  surrounded the home where a suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Ryan Houlden barricaded himself inside after holding multiple people hostage.

Law enforcement cleared the scene shortly after 10:00 p.m. Houlden is still missing.

On Sunday, the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office released a wanted poster for Houlden.
