Police working to identify Kansas carjacking suspect

SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged carjacking and asking the public for help identifying and locating the suspect.

The carjacking took place just after 8p.m. December 20 at Dillons, 640 N. West Street in Wichita, according to a media release.

The victim was leaving the Dillons when the suspect approached them with a knife in one hand and a hammer in the other hand and demanded the keys to the car.

Once the victim handed over the keys, the suspect got into the car and drove south on West Street from the Dillons location.
