KBI makes 2 arrests after drug bust at NW Kansas home

RAWLINS COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Rawlins County Sheriff’s Office arrested two subjects after a search warrant was executed in McDonald, Kansas, according to a media release from the KBI.

Just after noon Tuesday KBI agents and deputies from the Rawlins County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 204 Decatur Avenue in McDonald.  Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located during the search.

Claudine Valles, 48, of McDonald, was arrested for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school, possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held on a $50,000 bond, according to online jail records.

Allen Statley, 36, of McDonald, was arrested for possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple violations of the Kansas Offender Registration Act. He is being held on a $125,000 bond.

Also assisting in this operation were the Atwood Police Department and the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office.
