WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a Kansas bank robbery have taken a suspect into custody.
The robbery occurred just before 3p.m. Thursday at Mainstreet Credit Union, 8245 State Avenue, Kansas City, KS.
Suspect is described a white or Hispanic male, approximately 6ft tall and 150 pounds. Suspect was wearing sunglasses, a face covering, a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and tennis shoes.
Just before 7p.m. Kansas City, Kansas police reported an individual was been taken into custody without incident within close proximity of the Mainstreet Credit Union. Police thanked partners and residents who assisted officers with their tips.
