KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating a teens death just days after a violent attack in Kansas City.
Just after 6:30p.m. August 21, police responded to report of disturbance in the 5000 block of Swope Parkway, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.
First responders found 18-year-old Montague Ashline suffering from head trauma. EMS transported him Ashline to a local hospital
Preliminary investigation showed there was an argument between multiple people that led to Ashline being hit with an object.
On Monday, Ashline died from his injuries. Police have not reported an arrest.
If anyone has any information on Ashline’s death they are asked to call the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously that leads to closure in the case.
