KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas.
Just after 2:20p.m. Monday, police were dispatched to a shooting in 1000 block of W. 38th street, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'.
Officers entered an apartment building and located a man in a stairwell suffering from gunshot trauma. He was pronounced dead at scene. Police did not release the victim's name or report any suspect detials.
It is Kansas City's 71st homicide of 2024, according to KCPD.
