ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged child sex crimes.
This week, police began an investigation focusing on unlawful sexual contact involving a victim under the age of 10, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
On Wednesday, police arrested 40-year-old Jeffery W. Bowen of Atchison at his home. He is being held on requested charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
