JOHNSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Friday in. Johnson County.
A USD 233 school bus and motorcycle were involved in a crash at North Ridgeview Road and East Pineview Street, according to Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo.
First responders found the motorcyclist with serious injuries. Life-saving measures were conducted by police and medical personnel. The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on scene.
The driver of the bus, a 56-year-old woman, remained on scene and was cooperating. The school bus was transporting children at the time of the crash. No one on the bus was injured. Police did not release the name of the man who died.
