SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a man for an alleged robbery.
Just after 11p.m. December 3, police responded to a report of a robbery at the Sonic drive-in 5922 SW 21st Street in Topeka, according to Lt Jerry Monasmith.
A victim reported a male suspect, later identified as 37-year-old William Kellogg entered the establishment and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, Kellogg fled the scene.
Shortly afterwards, officers located and apprehended a person matching the Kellogg's description without incident.
As a result of the investigation, police transported Kellogg to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Robbery and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
