Suspects in ski masks took $200 cash from Kan. convenience store

SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a weekend armed robbery.

Just after 4:30a.m. Saturday, police responded to an armed robbery at the Kwik Shop in the 6300 block of E. 13th Street North in Wichita, according to Officer Juan Rebolledo.

The clerk, while engaging with a customer, noticed two people wearing ski masks walk in and proceeded to the bathroom. The clerk had a suspicious feeling and walked out of the store to call 911. The clerk was forced back inside the store to open the registers at gunpoint.

The suspects, described as unknown race males in their late teens to early thirties, stole approximately $200 cash from the registers and fled towards 12th Street.
