SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating another fatal shooting in Wichita have identified the victim as 29-year-old Nestor Rivera of Wichita, according to Officer Kris Gupilan.
Just before 12:30a.m. Saturday, police responded to a call in the 700 block of E. 57th Street South. First responders found Rivera with an upper body gunshot wound, according to Gupilan.
Sedgwick County EMS transported him to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Wichita Police investigators have identified all involved parties and are conducting interviews to determine the circumstances that led to this incident.
