KANSAS CITY —Authorities are investigating the cause of motel fire in Kansas City.
Just before 11:30a.m. Friday, crews responded to a reported fire in a motel located at 6300 Blue Parkway, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
Crews reported smoke and fire showing from a single unit on arrival. Searches of the structure came back all clear. The fire was quickly brought under control limiting the damage to a few units. No injuries were reported at this incident. Authorities did not release a damage estimate.
