Kansas man accused of attack on a woman, stalking

SALINE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after an incident in Salina.

Just after 6p.m. Thursday,. police  responded to a report of trespassing at a home the 900 block of W. Crawford in Salina, according to Police Captain James Feldman.

The caller was a 53-year-old woman who reported 42-year-old  Otto Knotterus was trespassing and following her to several locations to a friend of the woman. The woman told police she was afraid of Knotterus.

Officers then arrived in the area and located Knotterus and took him into custody without incident. Contact was made with the woman's friend, a 36-year-old woman who reported being an associate of Knotterus. She alleged that in July of 2026, Knotterus had battered her on several occasions and was fearful of him as well.

Knotterus was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of Domestic Battery and Stalking.
