SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities and USD 501 officials are investigating an alleged school threat against a Kansas high school.
Just after 11p.m. Monday, the USD 501 Topeka Public Schools Police Department notified investigators from the Topeka Police Department of a threat made about a school shooting at Topeka West High School.
Investigators were quick to identify and locate a 15-year-old who made the threat. Police arrested the girl and booked her into the Juvenile Detention Center on requested charges of Aggravated Criminal Threat.
