FINNEY COUNTY—A Kansas man died in an accident just after 10:30p.m. Tuesday in Finney County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Harley Davidson Electra driven by James G. Huband, 44, Congress, was southbound in the southbound lane of S. Holcomb Lane at West Crist Road four miles south of West River Road.
The motorcycle crossed the center line into the northbound lane of travel at a curve, traveled off the roadway to the left into the ditch. The driver lost control and crashed in a field east of road.
Huband was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
