KBI helps make arrest of SW Kansas cocaine dealer

FORD COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), Ford County Sheriff's Office and Dodge City Police Department conducted a search warrant today in Dodge City, Kansas, where one man was arrested.

Just before noon Tuesday, KBI agents, sheriff's deputies and police officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of West La Mesa Drive, in Dodge City, related to an ongoing narcotics investigation, according to a media release from the KBI.

Louis L. Ramey, 28, of Dodge City, was arrested for three counts of possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, three counts of unlawful use of a communications facility to facilitate a drug transaction, and three counts of unlawful acts involving proceeds derived from violations of K.S.A. 21-5701 through 21-5717

Following the arrest Ramey was booked into the Ford County Jail.
