WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a three and a half hour standoff.
Just after 4p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 2600 Block of Armstrong Avenue in Kansas City with a search, arrest warrant, according to a media release. Several individuals exited the home but the suspect refused and barricaded himself in the residence.
Just before 8:30p.m. following several tactical interventions the suspect exited the house without incident or injury and was taken into custody. Police did not release the name of the suspect or possible charges.
The incident is under investigation by the KCK Police Department.
