Suspects jailed after $3,400 theft from Kan. sporting goods store

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged theft at a retailer in Manhattan.

Just after 3p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report of theft in the 400 block of 3rd Place, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report. Dick's Sporting Goods reported three woman entered the store and left without paying for approximately $3,454.58 worth of merchandise.

The three were swiftly apprehended and officers arrested Jvon Adams-Morgan, 18, Inayjha Ware, 20, and Elvia Richards, 19, all from Wichita. Total bond for each was set at $4,000 and all were confined at the time of this report.
