Police: Reward increased for information in Salina woman's murder

SALINA —Law enforcement authorities continue their investigation into the murder of woman in Salina. A reward for information in the case is now $2500.

Just after 11:30a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the 700 block of North Fourth Street in Salina for a report of the sound of gunfire and someone screaming, according to a media release.

Upon arrival, Salina Police Officers located a woman identified as 36-year-old Courtney Ann Hoffman of inside a vehicle at 731 N. 4th Street. She had a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased by Salina Fire Department EMS personnel.

This case is being considered a homicide and detectives are attempting to identify suspect(s). In addition, Salina Police Detectives are working to identify and locate persons who were in the area at the time of the shooting.
