MARION COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Tuesday in Marion County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a White farm tractor driven by Kyson L Gawith, 15, Hillsboro, was southbound on Kansas 15 three miles north of Hillsboro.
A southbound 2007 Kenworth semi driven by Myrta M. Lopez, 39, Wichita, attempted to pass the tractor as Gawith started to turn left into a residence.
The semi struck the front of the farm tractor. After impact the semi traveled off the road and rolled. The tractor came to rest in the southbound lanes of the highway.
EMS transported Gawith to Hillsboro Community Hospital and Lopez to Wesley Medical. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
