Traffic stop helps Kansas deputies catch 3 wanted suspects

OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating three suspects on a variety of allegations after a traffic stop.

Just before 11p.m. on December 11, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on U.S.75 Highway near Lyndon, for an alleged traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. Deputies made three arrests.

Marvin J. McWhorter Jr., 63, of Quenemo was arrested on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.

·Dustin A. Smith, 36, of Richmond is in custody on requested charges of Interference with law enforcement and an Arrest warrant.

 Philip J. Guyle Jr, 29, of Lyndon is jailed on requested charges in connection with two arrest warrants and traffic contraband in a correctional facility.
